About

Course Description

Curious about EMDR Early Interventions and looking for ways to implement them with kids and families? Join me for video/photo case presentations exploring the application of EMDR Early Intervention Group Protocols in a private practice setting. You'll come away with practical tools to address the rising mental health needs of children and families. We'll start with an introduction to the EMDR Group Protocols (GTEP, C-GTEP,
IGTP-OTS, ASSYST, GP-C) designed to support children, teens, and family systems, then review each protocol's history, uses, and similarities/differences to the Standard Protocol. We'll discuss presenting problems/situations where group protocols can benefit family systems and identify developmentally appropriate modifications to implement early interventions with mixed-age family systems, while maintaining fidelity to the protocol.
This presentation is for EMDR-trained clinicians who want to explore how EMDR group early interventions can be implemented with children and family systems. This presentation does not provide specific training/certification in group protocols. Instead, case studies are shared to provide practical application for clinicians trained in group protocols and to generate interest for clinicians curious about how EMDR early interventions can be applied in family systems.

*Disclaimer: Please note this video contains difficult subject matters related to children and trauma.
